About Us
Limacon is a small, family company based in North London. We specialise in providing software solutions for teachers and education sector administrators.
Our products include applications for use with Microsoft Excel and interactive websites coded in ASP.net/XHTML using CSS and driven by MySQL databases.
Together, our team has many years of experience working in state education. Therefore our primary aim is to produce simple, no fuss solutions at education prices.
Our project manager originally worked in Spain and the UK in banking software but later moved into education and entertainment - details of her next jazz gig can be found at catherinelima.com where you can also hear some samples of her performances.
Our chief programmer has worked in education for nearly thirty years in various roles such as maths teaching, assistant headteacher, examinations manager, systems manager and timetabler. He also works as a consultant in school timetabling, educational websites and I.T. systems. Pastimes include writing computer programs, designing interactive websites and playing his 5-string bass.
