Construction (Vocational) The vocational curriculum provides courses across Haringey at different centres depending on the choice of course. The centres include the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CoHNEL), Haringey Sixth Form Centre and Alexandra Park School. Each course counts as two options. All the courses run on one day a week and will involve the student being based at the necessary location for that day. The rest of the week you will follow a normal school timetable of core provision, one GCSE option and a functional skills course that will support all your work including the vocational curriculum course that you choose. The courses are all vocational and therefore involve a high level of practical work related to the chosen sector of employment. They suit students who want to study a subject in a way that has real practical value in the world of work. You must be able to demonstrate a good record of behaviour, have good organisational skills and be prepared to commit yourself fully to the course.
