Utilities

The Utilities sheet is the powerhouse of the Student Sorting Kit. From here, you can control all aspects of the program and run useful routines at a touch of a button.

List Sheet Sorting Routines

  • Sorting the students alphabetically
  • Sorting the students by feeder school - useful when linking students as friends or keep-aways
  • Sorting the students by class - after they have been assigned by the program
  • Sorting the students by Unique ID - for those using this option to link friends together

Friendship Links

  • Analyse the links between students and display them in coloured bands
  • Clear the Linkview sheet after modifying friendships
  • After sorting, check to see if any friendships or keep-away links have been bypassed due to other restrictions
  • Clears the ignored links column after modifying friendships or keep-aways

Utilities

  • Begins the routine of assigning students to classes
  • Analyses your student information in order to identify problems such as incorrect spelling, logic etc.
  • Allows you to keep trach of your key balances when making manual alterations to class memberships
  • Completely restructures the Sorting Kit to match the details you have specified on the Factors sheet
