Installation
Launching the Installation Files
First place the Student Sorting Kit CD in your CD drive. The installation process should begin automatically. If it doesn't, you can start it manually by browsing to the contents of the CD and double-clicking the sortkit.exe file. Alternatively, you can click Start and choose Run and then type in the following command:
e:\sortkit.exe
where e is the letter of your CD drive
What's Loaded onto my Computer?
Inside the folder you specified during the installation, you will find the following files:
- The Student Sorting Kit - an Excel workbook
- The Instruction Booklet - requires Adobe Reader
- Feedback and History - requires Adobe Reader
- Nine separate Powerpoint presentations taking you through the Kit's use from beginner to advanced
- The entire set of powerpoint presentations in bookmarks pdf format to enable easy navigation/browsing
- The Kit and Excel 2007 - a special article explaining what you need to do if you're using the latest version of Microsoft Office
- A licence for the Kit - a small text document.
